About Us
Welcome to the Bryn Mawr Tango Club!
We are a student-run community at Bryn Mawr College dedicated to learning, practicing, and dancing Argentine Tango. Bryn Mawr Tango was founded in Fall 2025. We have community members who help instruct weekly classes as well. We have a variety of events, including occasional practicas, workshops, and social dances. We are currently only open to students, faculty, and college affiliates within Bryn Mawr, Haverford, or Swarthmore. However, we sometimes host open to the public events end-of semester milonga (a social dance).

President
Jules Chapin-Tsai
Bryn Mawr '28
Majors: French & Cities
From: Tucson, AZ & Asheville, NC
About Jules:
Jules grew up in Tucson, Arizona and recently moved to Asheville, NC. Discovering tango at 12 years old, she was enthusiastic to continue her passion by starting the Bryn Mawr Tango Club in Fall 2025. She fell in love with tango after being randomly invited to join a group class. With experience in both leading and following, she is also new to tango DJing and has a love for mixing alternative and traditional music. Jules also loves collaborating with other Uni Tango Clubs, and is open to creating more of a connection with all the East Coast Tango Clubs!
Outside of Tango, you can find her crafting new Indie Spotify playlists, creating GIS maps, writing poetry, or nerding out about random Cities topics.
Since Jules will be abroad Fall 2026, you can reach out to Joyney or the rest of the e-board!
